Isolated Patients Travel and Accommodation Assistance Scheme
Transport for Health provides a range of transport and travel assistance to people who cannot use or have difficulty using public and/or private transport or who are disadvantaged by distance.
The NSW Ombudsman helps agencies to address problems with their performance. These problems may be uncovered by complaints from members of the public or by people who work for those agencies. They may also come to our attention through our work in scrutinising agency systems, overseeing investigations or reviewing the delivery of services.

Mobility Parking Scheme
The Mobility Parking Scheme (MPS) provides parking concessions to people with mobility disabilities.
Taxi Transport Subsidy Scheme
The scheme was introduced in 1981 to assist residents of NSW who are unable to use public transport because of a qualifying severe and permanent disability. The scheme subsidises the travel cost of TTSS participants, allowing them to travel by taxi at half fare.
The NSW Government provides subsidised or concession travel to a wide range of people within specified target groups. These include: school and tertiary students, jobseekers, apprentices and trainees, the vision impaired, certain ex-members of the Defence Forces, pensioners, NSW Seniors Card holders and war widow/ers.
